A side-by-side comparison of the two most-booked helicopter experiences in the United States.
It's the question we get more than any other: should I book a Las Vegas Strip helicopter flight, or a Grand Canyon helicopter tour? The honest answer is — they're completely different experiences.
A Vegas Strip flight is short, urban and electric. You're in the air for 12–15 minutes, the highlight is the neon light show below, and the price (around $109) makes it accessible. It's perfect for an evening before dinner or as a celebratory moment with a partner.
A Grand Canyon tour is an event. You'll spend 3.5–4.5 hours away from your hotel, fly over Hoover Dam, descend below the canyon rim and (on most packages) land for a champagne picnic. Prices start around $399 and rise to $599 with the Skywalk added.
Our recommendation: if you only do one, do the Grand Canyon — there's nothing like flying below the rim. If you have time and budget for both, fly the Strip at night on arrival day and the canyon mid-trip. They complement each other beautifully.
